The Appalachian Homestead Network is a community-driven initiative dedicated to fostering self-reliance, sustainability, and resilience in the Northeast Georgia region. Formerly known as North Georgia
CERN, our group has evolved from its roots in emergency preparedness to embrace a broader vision
centered around homesteading practices.
Our network brings together individuals, families, and communities who share a common interest in
homesteading, self-sufficiency, and emergency readiness. Through collaboration, education, and mutual
support, we empower each other to thrive in both ordinary and extraordinary circumstances.
